Chief Deputy Wollmuth has been with the Sheriff’s office since 1988.  Chief Deputy Wollmuth is responsible for the civil process and other administrative duties.  He is a graduate of the Iowa Lakes Community College with a A.S. degree in Criminal Justice and the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy.

Lt. Hofman has been with the Sheriff’s office since 1994.  He is a graduate of Iowa Lakes Community College with a A.S. degree in Criminal Justice.  Lt. Hofman is responsible for drug and other general criminal investigations and Crime Scene Investigations and Evidence Collection.  Lt. Hofman is a graduate of the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy and the Iowa Law Enforcement Intelligence Network.  He is currently a representative on the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force.

 Sergeant Matt Julius

Deputy Julius has been with the Sheriff’s office since 2008.  He has an A.S. degree in Computer Programming and Computer Networking from Northwest Iowa Community College. Deputy Julius is a graduate of the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy and the Iowa Law Enforcement Intelligence Network. Deputy Julius is responsible for general patrol and jail duties.  He is also a certified Drug Recognition Expert.

Deputy Krikke has been with the Sheriff’s office since 2005.  Deputy Krikke has a A.S. degree in Police Science from Western Iowa Technical College.  He is a graduate of the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy, and the Iowa Law Enforcement Intelligence Network.  Deputy Krikke has had training in Drug Interdiction Traffic Stops and is responsible for maintaining and implementing covert alarm systems and evidence collection along with general patrol and jail duties. He is currently a representative on the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force.

Deputy Tyler Bos has been with the Sheriff's office since 2014. He graduated from the Regional Law Enforcement Academy at Western Iowa Tech Community College. Deputy Bos is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a BS degree in Criminal Justice.  He also has an AA in Criminal Justice from Iowa Western Community College.  Deputy Bos is responsible for general patrol and jail duties.

Ms. Top has been with the sheriff’s office since 1988.  She is the Head Dispatcher, Jail Administrator and TAC Officer (NCIC Terminal Agency Coordinator), overseeing all jail and dispatching operations.  Ms. Top is also a member of the Rural Emergency Stress Care Unit, manages payroll, web page management, TraCS (Traffic and Criminal Software) entry, and security checks.

Ms. Hibbing has been with the sheriff’s office since 1982.  She attended Worthington Community College for two years in general studies.  Ms. Hibbing is responsible for Civil Process and Clerical duties, Revenue Management, Jail Record Keeping, and Public Safety Secretarial duties.  Ms. Hibbing is also responsible for general dispatching and jail duties.

Ms. Croatt has been with the sheriff’s office since 1997.  Ms. Croatt oversees the Bad Check Files, Warrant Management, Jail Mug shots, and Gas receipts for Patrol and Ambulance vehicles.  She is also responsible for general dispatching and jail duties.

Ms. Johnson has been with the sheriff’s office since 2002.  She is a graduate of Northwest Community College with an A.A. degree in Accounting.  Ms. Johnson is responsible for Citation and Warning Ticket Recording, Officer Logs and general dispatching and jail duties.

Ms. Smith has been working part-time with the Sheriff’s office since 2007.  She is a certified Paramedic and CPR Instructor.  Ms. Smith is responsible for the sTEP (Special Traffic Enforcement Program) and general dispatching and jail duties.
